BASMA for Culture and Arts concludes shows of a Marionette dolls.

A series of theater shows of the Marionette puppet play "Bembem Not Afraid" for children has been completed by the BASMA Society for Culture and Arts. The artistic team conducted 15 theatrical performances with the mobile theater vehicle at partner organizations and schools in the Gaza governorate, showing the play to a total of 1,546 children, including 1098 girls and 448 boys. The play was performed at NGOs, primary schools, as part of the project "Promoting Gaza Children’s Well-Being and Creativity through Psychodrama of Marionette and Puppet" supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office

  Basma Society for Culture and Arts is an independent non-profit society founded in Gaza Strip in 1994. Basma society works in the field of culture and  arts, It specializes in theater, drama and psychosocial support, to contribute in the Palestinian community development through the provision of cultural, educational and recreational activities and psychosocial support activities, targeting children, youth and women, including persons with disabilities.
